major cod4 map trouble
hi can anyone help me please
we are running a cod4 server and we are using the x4v20 mod
we want to add a custom map to the stock list of maps
can any one tell me how to go about this and were i have to put the files and what has to be written into the cfg files
we have tried allready and the furthest we can get is when you call a vote for the next map it brings the name of the map up on the screen but it dosnt load . And it dos'nt download a copy of the map files to the pc,s
can any one please give me a break down ov were the files need to be on the server and on the redirect website and as we are running a mod do we put the files in the mod folder tree or in the main cod4 folder tree.
any help would be really appreciated
thanks benno123

custom maps should be placed in a new folder called usermaps where your main folder resides

No they should not go in any folder except a new folder called usermaps
then with your http redirect simple copy the directory structure
example
http//:yourdomain.com/cod4/
directory structure
main < no need to upload this
mods
usermaps
